DSC_0069The Art Educators' Exhibition is a collection of work from public and private school art teachers, college art professors, private instructors, and community educators. The Big Art Show is the FMVA's largest exhibit, and it's hosted each spring by the Historical Cultural Society of Clay County at the Hjemkomst Center. The show features more than 60 FMVA members and continues to grow every year. The Little Art Show is an annual exhibit in the atrium at Essentia Health. The Constraint Show concept originated from FMVA Visual Talks in 2009 at Gin Templeton and Janet Flom's studio.  Artists produce work that fits their own interpretations of a chosen theme. FMVA members may exhibit artwork in the above shows free, and no commission is collected.

The FMVA Holiday Art Sale is open to FMVA members to display and sell their original art in a comfortable shopping environment. This is also an educational event where artists are encouraged to discuss their work and must be present throughout the entire event.
